If you have a smartphone with a built-in eSIM, you can sign up for Verizon service in My Verizon. You don't need to go to a store to BYOD to Verizon.
You can bring an eSIM-capable Apple® iPhone® and Samsung Galaxy S24 to Verizon.
When switching to Verizon, you can bring your existing number from your current carrier, or choose to have a new number assigned to you. You can choose either option during the bring your own device set up.

It can take up to 15 minutes for your phone to connect to the Verizon network for the first time.
If after 15 minutes your service isn't activated, contact us for help. Don't attempt to activate service again while waiting to connect.

Yes, if your device doesn't have an eSIM, you can still activate it on the Verizon network using a physical SIM card. You can enroll by going online, visiting a Verizon location or contacting us.
